What You Can Expect in 2025

Last year was quite challenging, so taking some time off to reflect on 2025 was really good.
Here are some things you can expect from me this year:
1. Building GoalPair
Over the last few months, I have been considering testing an idea that would help candidates get hired faster.
Like me, you probably experienced challenges landing a role despite how good and confident you were.
I am testing this idea to help recruiters use existing networks to hire candidates faster without online applications.
You can land a job without applying online because many jobs are not advertised online.

2. New YouTube Series
I am excited to share my new series on Using R for Data Analysis.
Getting started can feel overwhelming, so I have kicked things off with a beginner-friendly guide.

I will be running more mentoring sessions than ever before this year. If you need help landing your next data analyst role, then watch this space.

A friend of mine almost lost his domain name last year. Thankfully, we were able to quickly register it before losing it.
Your name is your identity, and something you can easily gift yourself in 2025 is to register your domain name (e.g. banjialo.com)
Don’t let someone else register your personal brand before you do.
Register your domain and build a simple website for yourself in 2025, even if you don’t feel ready.
Own your brand.
