Welcome To 2024!
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for sticking around in 2023. I hope you enjoyed the career lessons I shared. I hope you used my tips to advance your career. Email me if something stood out to you in particular from my posts or if my tips helped you land a new job.
I have had some good time off and am ready to get started again this year. As usual, I will be providing career advice to help you land your dream role and achieve your career goals.
My Focus For This Year
I have a couple of plans for this year. This will be rolled out sequentially, and of course, I will be in touch as this progresses.
Building hinterviews.com
First, my team and I are currently building a professional networking site. We are trialling this tool to help you achieve your career goals without hassling anyone. I often find it very challenging to learn how others achieved their dream role. It’s so hard getting information without endless usual coffee chats, LinkedIn DMs, etc.
We started sometime last year, and we are still building the MVP. Software development is actually more work than I thought, and I am glad I have some support from my partner.
There isn’t much on the website except a landing page. You can view it here. I will notify you once it’s ready for testing.
More products
Secondly, I will build products like courses, community, etc., to help you achieve your career goals. This has come from your feedback from the survey. The first career course will be out soon. I will let you know before it launches.
Holidays
I didn’t quite get many holidays last year and the year before. In fact, I have lost my habit of intentionally going on holidays. I have decided I will try and visit cities this year. I might just be visiting your city this year. So stick around for announcements, and let me know if you would like to meet up.
Books
I wrote two books last year. That was probably way too much, and I really don’t know how I managed to pull this off. I will probably stick to one book this year to keep me sane.
