Goals

You have probably made some new year’s resolutions and working towards them.

You might think you must wait until next year to start ticking off these goals.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

You can achieve your 2023 goals right now. You just have to grab some easy goals to achieve quick wins before the new year.

I had a few goals this year, and I am glad I achieved them.

One such goal is to retain my online presence through my personal website.

I am glad I did. Having my website using my domain provider has brought me lots of career and professional opportunities. It has also helped me advance my career faster than ever.

I think you should consider doing the same as well.

Why You Should Re-Brand Your Online Presence In 2023

#1. Online Presence

We now live in a world ruled by technology. Everything is online. Gone are the days when domain names and websites are associated with businesses or prominent societal figures.

Nowadays, anyone can have their own domain and website on the internet to improve their brand.

I currently use a renowned hosting provider, and they have proven their worth.

Their Cyber Monday deal is still in, so you can get started for as low as $2/month. I recommend getting an annual plan.

#2. Show Your Work

As a Career Advisor and Data Scientist, I need a repository for my work.

Some sites offer you a repository to showcase your work, but it’s still vital for you to own your domain name and set up your website.

It’s also great to have your personal website if you are job hunting to stand out from the competition.

In today’s job market, it’s not enough to simply have a resume and cover letter — you need an online presence.

Having a personal website shows that you are tech-savvy and willing to go the extra mile to get noticed.

Should You Do This As Well?

Yes, absolutely!

Your online presence is your new resume.

Personal branding is becoming increasingly critical, and we are now begging to value the importance of the internet in our lives.

Therefore, I encourage you to grab your personal website today and launch into 2023. It’s a worthy investment that can make all the difference to your life and work.

You don’t have to learn how to code to build your website.

I use WordPress for all my websites and you can do this as well.

Better still, you can outsource this on Fiverr — which should only cost about $30.

Final Summary

You don’t have to wait for 2023 to achieve some of your goals.

Whether you’re looking for a new job, freelance, or simply want to brand yourself, having a personal website is vital.

You can build credibility and professionalism.

So go ahead and get your personal website.
